Start with the location's page on this list: it shows the license we matched, permits in city records where available, and its Google review history. Then confirm the legal business name on your contract, and look that name up yourself: Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors lookup (lslbc.louisiana.gov); Texas doesn't issue a state roofing license, so ask for proof of insurance and the permit number. Ask who pulls the permit and get the permit number.
